| Specifications Rich mahogany paneling and furniture, brass portholes and detailed marquetry provide comfortable and well designed accommodation for up to 5 guests in 3 well appointed cabins. Sincerity's aft cabin has a double bunk to starboard, a single bunk to port and a personal wash-basin, which is recessed into the old vanity. The cabin is very spacious, accented with a large overhead skylight, which provides plenty of light and air. The starboard cabin has two large portholes, both of which can be fully opened. An intricate ventilation hatch into the deckhouse also provides a steady flow of fresh air through the cabin. There is a large 8ft single bed to starboard, commonly used as a double, and a single athwart ship. Crew Quarters A crew of four occupies the forepeak, forward of the galley, allowing excellent service with maximum privacy for the guests. Salon The unusually light Main Saloon offers dining for 8 people and the original chairs, table and an intricate hatch to the adjacent Galley are amongst the features from a past era that still remain. A wonderful feature is the large dining table on deck for 8-10 people. Bird's eye maple inlays and a solid red oak parquet cabin sole runs throughout the yacht, with the occasional Persian carpet complementing her rich mahogany paneling. One of the most enchanting places to relax is in the spacious deckhouse, where you have full view of your surroundings in old world luxury and comfort. If the weather prohibits an outdoor setting, then this is the ideal place curl up to a good book or sip sunset cocktails. History S.Y. Sincerity, an Edwardian Marconi ketch full of character and spirit, was built in 1928 by Baglietto for the founder and owner of the Italian automobile company Fiat. Sincerity is a Vincenzo Bagletto masterpiece. She is the most beautiful yacht that ever rolled down the slipway at Bagletto's yard in Variazza in Italy. In the early 1900's, Sincerity was designed as a fast and comfortable cruising boat, which is reflected in her lines. Her cut away forefoot and modern rig makes her a very fast classic yacht. In combination with her unusually high bulwarks, reserve buoyancy in her bow and stern makes her exceptionally dry. Her long keel and 75 tons displacement makes her steady, easy to handle and comfortable in heavy weather. Sincerity is built with 3 inch thick teak planks on oak frames. The best of Italian workmanship is evident in her hull and her exquisite interior. A unique feature of the interior is the extensive marquetry panels that originated from the carriage of the Orient Express where World War One's cease-fire agreement was signed. Sincerity has accommodated royalty; Princes Caroline of Monaco spent her first honeymoon onboard. No expense has since been spared to keep her to the highest standards. All systems have been updated to include modern comforts and navigational aides.
