built in sandwich kevlar-carbon in 1985 by Amtec Belgium
designed by Joubert Nivelt, Naval Architects France
YORGO", is a former 1985 Whitbread Round The World maxiracer.
This yacht, skippered by the legendary ERIC TABARLY sailed
under the name "Cote d'Or" ( the Belgian chocolate sponsor )
during the Whitbread Race in 1985 -1986, and is very fast and as
elegant as ever.
This 83-footer is "pure fun"!
A refit will bring her back to her former glory.
"Yorgo" can be sailed with as few as 4 crew and an extra 12
guests can enjoy sailing, cruising or racing.
With her "minimum" interior, "Yorgo" is the ideal fit for
adventurous people looking for a "maximum" sailing experience.
She is now painted blue and stored on the hard for viewing.
