Vintage Motor yacht AMAZON / WELSH LIBERTY is a 41.60 m 136 (ft) steel vessel which was build by J Thornycroft & Co for Sir Winston Churchill in 1936.
Accommodating 12 guests and 8 crew, motor yacht WELSH LIBERTY was formerly named Amazone, later My Evangeline and now has again her first name Amazone.

Length: 38.89 (127.6 ft)
Width 6.43 m ( 21.1 ft )
Draught 3.51m (10.5ft).
Engines 2 x Cummins 700 Horse Power / 515 kW
Range of 4000 nautical miles.
Cruising speed 11 knots.
She had several refits done over the years.
